If the microSD card that we, K-tec Systems Ltd, supply with your retro handheld device, should fail or suffer from data corruption, during the lifetime of the device you purchased from K-tec Systems Ltd, whilst being used in service of said device, we shall replace said microSD card with a new card containing firmware compatible with the handheld device.
The replacement microSD card will be dispatched upon receipt, by us, of the original microSD card returned by you. The replacement microSD card will not contain your game saves or any ROMS you have added since the original purchase of your device.
“In service of said device” includes use of the microSD card while it is in the handheld device. It also includes any time it is connected to a PC for the purpose of backing up ROMs or firmware for use with said device. It does not include the time it spends in another device or connected to a PC for the purpose of using it with another device–for example, but not limited to, storing firmware not compatible with the device you purchased from K-tec Systems Ltd; storing music or videos to be played on a device other than the handheld you purchased from K-tec Systems Ltd; storing games and ROMs for use with a device other than the handheld you purchased from K-tec Systems Ltd.
“The lifetime of the device you purchased from K-tec Systems Ltd” refers to the duration when your retro handheld device, purchased from K-tec Systems Ltd, remains functional. Once said handheld has reached the end of its useful life, this guarantee no longer applies to the microSD card supplied with the retro handheld device.
