Retro handhelds contain electrical components and lithium-ion batteries. While they are designed for gaming, they are enthusiast electronics, not standard children’s toys.
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a device from this website.
- If you are purchasing a device as a gift for a minor, you accept full responsibility for supervising their use of the device and ensuring it is charged safely using the correct equipment.
2. Orders, Pricing, and the Contract of Sale
When you place an order on the website and your payment is authorized, you are making an offer to buy the goods.
You will receive an automated email acknowledging your order, but please note that the legal contract of sale is not formed until I have packed your item and sent you a Dispatch Confirmation email.
Why do I do this? Very occasionally, technology fails us. If a system glitch prices a £200 console at £20, or if a device you ordered is suddenly discovered to be out of stock or damaged during my final setup checks, this clause gives me the legal right to cancel the order, immediately refund your payment in full, and let you know what went wrong before any contract is finalized.
3. Product Descriptions, Hardware, and Software
I want you to be absolutely confident in what you are buying.
- The Hardware: The physical device you receive will absolutely match the model you order. Please note that to showcase these devices at their best, I use professional studio lighting (including my brand’s signature gold accent lights) in my product photography. Furthermore, the plastic shells on certain retro handhelds can shift in appearance depending on whether you are playing under artificial room lighting or natural sunlight. As such, the exact hue of the console in your hands may vary slightly from the stylized images on your screen.
- The Software: One of my core services is installing the best, most up-to-date custom firmware and optimizing the settings for you. Because community developers are constantly improving these operating systems, the exact user interface, themes, and menu layouts on your device may look slightly different to the screenshots on the website. This simply means you are getting the newest, most stable version available at the time I configure your device.
4. Personal Use Only (B2C)
The products sold on this website are intended for domestic, personal consumer use. By ordering from K-TEC Systems Ltd, you agree that you are acting as a consumer and not purchasing goods for commercial resale or business purposes.
5. Deliveries, Returns, and Warranties

I take immense pride in configuring these devices safely and securely. However, to protect the business legally:
K-TEC Systems Ltd’s maximum liability for any claim arising from the purchase or use of a device sold on this website shall be limited to the purchase price of the product. K-TEC Systems Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data (including game saves), or damage caused by the use of incompatible chargers, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow safe usage instructions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, which cannot be legally excluded under UK law.
