This device has retired from the K-TEC range. I recommend the BATLEXP G350 instead — pocket-friendly size, every platform ready to play.

This device has retired from the K-TEC range — but the pocket-sized retro gaming experience you are after is still here.

I recommend the BATLEXP G350 instead

The G350 picks up where the Miyoo Mini left off — pocket-friendly size, a crisp 3.5-inch IPS display, and every platform pre-configured and ready to play. Up to PS1, N64, and Dreamcast. Brand-name storage and K-TEC’s Lifetime MicroSD Card Guarantee included.

The Anbernic RG353V offers a similar vertical form factor with a larger 3.5-inch display and dual analogue sticks, from £149.90.

1 review for Miyoo Mini V2 retro handheld

  1. Harry Duvall (verified owner)

The device is excellent and I appreciated that it is preloaded with OnionOS.

Unsure what other tweaks have been done to specific emulators but they all seem to run well. Had to download cheats and enable in the menus myself so it would have been nice to have had this libretro library included.

The SD card provided is a step up from the poor quality generic ones you usually see but not premium. Slightly disappointing as you are paying for the upgrade but it is loaded with a nicely curated selection.

The boot screen has been replaced by a k-tec branded splash screen which I could do without. I have since removed it but this required a separate app which was not on the device.

Great device at a premium cost. You’re paying substantially more for guaranteed availability, configuration and faster shipping than you would get at source but it does represent good value particularly if you’re not a tinkerer and just want to play some games.

    K-tec’s documentation is also excellent.
